We believe a child's development benefits most in a comprehensive, interdisciplinary program in which staff and family work closely together.

We strive to provide a quality, loving, active learning environment for children which enables them to develop and progress in their social, physical, literacy, and cognitive development.

Children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old who live in the Blue Springs School District attendance area can attend.  Limited spots are available.

  • Head Start programs support children's growth from birth to age 5 through services centered around early learning and development, health, and family well-being. Head Start staff actively engage parents, recognizing family participation throughout the program as key to strong child outcomes.

Here at Cub Care, we serve both Early Head Start and Head Start families. In Early Head Start, we work with children 6 weeks to 3 years and foster continuity of care to support family growth and community engagement. Our Head Start Program serves ages 3-5 years that provides quality education and social emotional support to prepare children for success.

Head Start services are available at no cost to children ages birth to 5 for eligible families. Families must apply for this grant through Mid America Regional Counsel (MARC). Once the application is completed, qualifying families are automatically added to the Cub Care waitlist if they choose our center.
