Preschool Screenings for 2026-2027 School Year
We are now accepting applications for our preschool programs for the 2026-2027 school year. The programs are available for children who will be four years old by August 1st. Children are eligible based on a developmental screening, the school attendance area you reside in and/or qualifying for free or reduced lunch.
BSSD Preschool programs are at Liggett Trail Education Center, Daniel Young Elementary, and James Lewis Elementary and will follow the district's academic calendar.
To determine eligibility, families must schedule a preschool screening, which will take place in April and May 2026. Screenings are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays at either 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, or 1:15 PM.
